CG-PI ITX is a highly effective photoinitiator II, can result in chemical reaction through absorbing ultraviolet light, which is applied in the unsaturated polyester, acrylic acid monomer and other photo-curing materials.Its obvious advantage is mutual solubility with the organic impregnant. And its wavelength of absorbing ultraviolet is258nm and 382nm at most. It performs quite well if used together with CG PI-907, and act as sensitizer when used with photoinitiator which shows negative ion.

It is suggested that the amount for additive is 0.2-2% w/w.
